THE MISSION: Our mission at heartland.k10 is to connect the spiritually disconnected to an authentic community of faith.

THE DESTINATION: We believe that, no matter where we are in our spiritual journey, every follower of Christ should be growing toward these three destinations.

THE ROADMAP:

The mission and destination are designed carefully to make it very clear what we are about as a church. We want to be equally as clear about our strategy for helping everyone to join in the mission and see growth toward the 3 destinations. We’ve created this ROADMAP to help guide you on your journey with h.k10.

THE ONRAMP: SUNDAY EXPERIENCE

Our mission at h.k10 is to connect the spiritually disconnected to an authentic community of faith and our Sunday programs are designed to be an ONRAMP experience. This experience is designed so that we can bring our friends to church and encounter God together. You don’t need to be experienced at Christian worship, you don’t need to know the books of the bible, you only need to come and participate at a level which is comfortable for you. THE MERGING LANES:

Once you’ve found your way into the ‘flow’ of what God is doing at h.k10, you might be asking yourself “where do we go from here?” At heartland.k10 we have three MERGING LANES that will carry you toward the destinations. Our belief is that by participating in these three merging lanes, you will begin to learn more about what it means to grow toward the three destinations. All that we do at heartland.k10 is meant to point people toward those destinations. Each of these merging lanes are intended to be open and changing at all times. As we grow as a church and learn more about our place in our culture and our place in the kingdom, we will adapt and change and progress in our focus and strategies as it relates to these three areas. The merging lanes are:

connect to
COMMUNITY GROUPS:
House groups are the primary MERGING LANE for spiritual growth & community. We believe the friendships that form in these groups are so important that we want everyone at h.k10 to connect to a community group.

serve on
MINISTRY TEAMS
Ministry teams are the primary MERGING LANE for service at h.k10. We believe that serving on a ministry team creates a sense of ownership and an opportunity for growth that can’t be found in any other way. Join a team and make a difference!

invest in the
DISCONNECTED
Investing in the Disconnected is our primary MERGING LANE for evangelism at h.k10. Our call is to spiritual friendships without an agenda. We believe that authentic relationships will do more to spread the Kingdom of God than anything else.

We believe that if you will travel these three merging lanes, you will find yourself growing in intimacy with God, community with connected people, and influence with disconnected people.
